A Safe Visit is owned and operated by Michael and Laura and has a staff that speaks, writes, and reads ENGLISH and SPANISH.
Our name, pretty much sums up the task at hand, for all to have a safe and fruitful visit that will bring some peace and love to those that need it the most. A visit can last a few hours or a very long weekend. A safe visit was founded in 2011 with the sole intent to provide dependable and honest monitoring service to those who are looking for some ‘peace’ in what can be troubling times. Our focus is always to listen to the parents and the courts to try and make things a little better for all involved. Whether we are dealing with infants or young teenagers, the goal is for the staff of ‘A Safe Visit’ to make the visit come together and at the same time be vigilant and aware of what is going on.
A Safe Visit has been recommended by the Los Angeles Superior Court as well as attorneys in the following jurisdictions: Santa Monica, Pomona, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, San Fernando, Lancaster, Van Nuys, and Beverly Hills.

‘A Safe Visit’ is owned and operated by Michael Valdovinos and Laura Valdovinos
When we opened in 2011, one of the first things we noticed was the lack of “official training and certification”. We actively advocated that both training and certification occur and that monitors are unbiased, trained professionals that know that children always came first. The other thing we felt that child monitors should have in Los Angeles County is the paperwork that the courts and/or attorneys need. You will find us working into the night after a visitation to make sure the paperwork is put together in a fair and unbiased basis. It takes more time but our clients deserve nothing less.
Michael and Laura’s personal thoughts are: “That any assignment can be handled in a safe and secure way as long as we as individuals have a clear and concise understanding of what will be acceptable and what will not be. It is also very important to Michael and Laura that we are available to our clients 24 hours a day and seven days a week! For us this is a serious and huge responsibility which we take that task to our very core, we too have young children”. Laura Valdovinos has worked with Michael Valdovinos and his family of professionals for many years!
Michael and Laura will never allow any of their staff to forget ‘the’ assignment and to be vigilant at all times. Their staff is well trained by the best in taking care of the clients’ needs and more importantly their children’s needs.
We are in compliance with the new 2021/2022 updated guidelines for supervised visitation monitors.
