Our name, pretty much sums up the task at hand, for all to have a safe and fruitful visit that will bring some peace and love to those that need it the most. A visit can last a few hours or a very long weekend. We here at ‘A Safe Visit' are always packed and ready to roll. A safe visit was founded in 2011 with the sole intent to provide dependable and honest monitoring service to those who are looking for some ‘peace’ in what can be troubled times. Our focus is always to listen to the parents and sometimes the courts and to try and make things a little better for all involved. Whether we are dealing with infants or young teenagers the goal is for the staff of ‘A Safe Visit', to make the visit come together and at the same time be vigilant and aware of what is going on.
About the owners'A Safe Visit' is owned and operated by Michael Valdovinos and Laura Salvador-Valdovinos, Michael has worked with children from the the time he was 16 years old. (Michael and Laura now have one of their own!) When Michael attended college his goal was either police work or teaching, because Michael's father is a former police officer. Spending years around cops and agents has left an impression on him! Michael was the only kid that had a few chiefs of police on speed dial when he was in school.
Michael's skills in taking care of children and providing security was developed over years working in his family business, investigations and security. This very same skill will be used in all of Michael and/or Laura monitoring assignments. Michael's education was from the best the world has to offer in child care and security. Working for his father in the family buisness gave him access to heads of state, a former president and other dignitaries and in having that access allowed Michael to work with and observe some of the best security organizations in existence. The family business Michael's father built was not meant to be used by everyone and that was his father’s plan. What an education it was! It seemed that Michael was always assigned to stay with the kids and to make sure they were ‘just being kids’. We always felt that what ever the ‘issues’ the children did not need to be involved. they are kids! Never did we call the service ‘Monitoring’, we were observing and taking notes when necessary and seeing to it that all went smoothly.
Our job, in the family business, was to assist the other staff and clients with taking care of their children for trips and visits. These assignments often took place out of the country with extensive travel or at local parks and amusement venues. Back in those days our services were National and International and a passport was always at the ready. After Michael met his partner Laura Salvador, they worked together in handling all aspects of security and child care, what some today call monitoring. Many times working with law enforcement and heads of local, federal and international agencies. Both Michael and Laura were taught about report writing and being good observers, again from some of the best in the business, one of those of course was Michael's father.
Michael's personal thoughts are: "That any assignment can be handled in a safe and secure way as long as we as individuals have a clear and concise understanding of what will be acceptable and what will not be. I learned very early on that "No" is not a bad word. Having command of the the word “No” and not being afraid to use it makes "A Safe Visit" possible. It is also very important to Laura and myself that we are available to our clients 24 hours a day and seven days a week, this is important stuff! For us this is serious and a huge responsibility and we take that task to our very core, we too have a young child".
If transportation is needed 'A Safe Visit' uses all New 2012 vehicles from luxury brands, SUVs and when needed midsize cars. Our company also can provide safety seating and strollers, all you need to do is to ask and in some cases a fee may be required but the request will be handled when appropriate. Some may think that this is ‘too much’, this is how we and our staff take care of our own children and yours will be no different if the need should arise.
Laura Salvador-ValdovinosLaura has worked with Michael and his family for many years, having a female was always a requirement of the firm. ‘Sometimes it is nice to have a girl for girl stuff’, that was Michael's father's thoughts and who are we to argue? Laura, like Michael, has worked at all levels of child care from infants and young adults taking care of security and when needed seeing that diapers were changed. At times this work can take on the feel of a nursery! However, Michael and Laura, and their staff, will never allow any of their staff to forget ‘the’ assignment and to be vigilant at all times......Michael and Laura, and now their staff, were trained by the best in taking care of the clients needs and more importantly their children’s needs.
